About

For too long, we’ve treated quiet as something to overcome instead of something to build from.

The Why

There are people whose inner worlds are far richer than the version of themselves most workplaces ever get to see.

Bio

Hannah Sosa

Hannah Sosa is a brand strategist, corporate marketing leader and the founder of Awfully Quiet, a publication, podcast and body of work arguing one thing: quiet deserves better PR.

For more than a decade, Hannah has built her career in brand marketing, helping shape global brands inside one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies. Along the way, she became convinced that the same principles that build iconic brands can also build remarkable careers.

Her work challenges one assumption in particular: that quiet is something to overcome. Instead, she argues it’s one of the most underused sources of perspective, influence and long-term success.

That belief became The Subtle Method, an inside-out approach to career development that challenges conventional advice to simply “speak up more” or “be more visible.” Instead, it starts with the quieter work that comes first: understanding yourself, discovering your professional signature and becoming easier to understand, remember and trust.

Today, Hannah combines a growing leadership career in global brand marketing with writing, speaking and building Awfully Quiet.
